Our 1st Ultrasound

Today we had our first ultrasound for our first baby!!  It was pretty cool to see. . .but it was also a little weird.  Here are a couple of pictures.

And my baby looks like fish bones in this picture. Kind of creepy.

I love the feet!  Aren't they the cutest?

"Hello" from Baby West

"I'm going to be the cutest baby EVER!"
We are so excited for our baby and cant wait to meet them in a few months.  Sadly, the technician wasnt sure of the baby's gender, she had a guess but was uncertain.  Hopefully we will find out before November but either way will be ok.

New Camera

Pete and I purchased a new camera last weekend. Our old one was just wearing out. It had gotten dropped and the pictures it took just weren't as good as they used to be. It was really sad.

BUT. . .

Our new camera is awesome!

Here is a stock picture of what it looks like.

Here are pictures that I took with it, unfortunately I am not very artistic with cameras, but I really do love taking pictures. :)

I think Daisy was getting annoyed with the flash on the camera

The tasty stir fry we had for dinner that night we bought the camera

Daisy's tongue is sticking out in this picture

I took this on the drive home after we got the camera

Fall Break '11

For fall break last weekend, Pete and I decided to go on a camping trip with our families. We went up to Chain O' Lakes State Park up in Albion. The park was really beautiful while we were there and the weather was great. Unfortunately my mom and sister were only able to stay one night but it was still a lot of fun and we are so glad we were able to go.

Here are some pictures of the trip.

Cole was the lucky one who got a canoe all to himself

Pete is great at steering the canoe :)

Lunch break

After lunch we switched the canoes around and Rachel was in a canoe with me. We were not very good at steering the canoe. We made friends with a lot of trees :)

We had a hammock hanging at our campsite for awhile until the DNR told us we had to take it down.

We decided to take a hike to the Nature Center.
